At the mentor meeting I got a lot of feedback for our class business ideas as well as a little feedback for my personal business. I have decided that my ultimate goal for a [personal] business is actual figure out what would work well in a building in Moweaqua and come up with a five-year plan and try to get a bank loan to actually open a store or something.

I really enjoyed last week in class. SSI was a fantastic business visit and was not something you would expect around here. I found it humorous that there were a lot of things you would think you’d see in a place for people that are programmers. Like the junk table upstairs and the “working” be quiet sign. I learned with this business visit mainly that you can make anything work around here. Yes it is an agribusiness technically with the software it makes but it showed me that there are jobs for people that are interested in being programmers and graphic designers.
