About Me

Rhegan Riley is a graduate from Stewardson-Strasburg High School. She chose to participate in Shelby County CEO because it is a great opportunity to get to know people outside of your area, take on more responsibilities in and out of the class, and develop social and communication skills. Outside of school and classes, Rhegan participates in teaching two-year- olds at Christ's Church and working on her small business, Riley&Co. Restorations. She may also be found working at Kirby Foods IGA in Effingham and Lithia Resort in Shelbyville. The CEO program has taught Rhegan the value of communication, building and keeping relationships, being flexible, and getting out of your comfort zone. Rhegan uses the skills she has taken away from this class to boost her confidence and self-esteem while meeting new people and going out into the world. She plans to get an associates degree for court reporting at Lake Land College and explore careers in that workforce while also continuing to prosper her creative abilities and her furniture restoration business.
